Hi, my name is David Copeland and I am the curator, writer, etc for this website. You can see from the picture above the stage of life I am in. I am a husband, dad, general contractor, Sunday School teacher…I am busy, and every aspect isn’t perfect, but, praise God, life is good.
With this website I want to share not just what I think, but what luminaries from history and from my lifetime have thought, written, preached, and shared, specifically about the Second Work of Grace. Why focus on this one aspect of Christianity? Because I believe it to be one of the most critical teachings of the Bible, and yet, from what I have experienced, it is ignored widely across Christiandom. There is often a great deal of focus on the need to be forgiven, but not enough, if any, on the next step - a total consecration of life on our part, and a total filling of the Holy Spirit from the Godhead. I believe, based on my reading of the Scriptures, that this is not optional, but entirely necessary and critical to full salvation. Hence this website.
I love discussion - I don’t love arguments. I have respect and treat with respect views that conflict with my own, and I would love to discuss this topic (or others) with anyone. So let’s have a conversation! Please email me any comments, questions, suggestions, prayer requests, etc. I welcome guest articles, let’s discuss if you have something to share.
“And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.” (1Thessalonians 5:23)
